Hypetex, the world’s first-ever coloured carbon fibre brand, is bringing its award-winning products to the US for the first time.

During NYCxDesign, New York’s official citywide celebration of design, Hypetex will present the Halo chair, which recently won the prestigious 2015 Red Dot award.

Designed by Michael Sodeau, the concept behind the Halo chair was to design an object that could best define and present Hypetex, a high-tech composite material created by leading engineers from the world of Formula One racing. The design embodies the high-performance properties of the material, which is lightweight, strong and visually dynamic.

With a display at designjunction exhibition during NYCxDesign, Hypetex will be introducing this special-edition red version of the Halo chair for the first time.
