A luxury travel brand Globe-Trotter in partnership with Hypetex, designed a new limited-edition 20” Carbon Fibre Trolley Case.

Each trolley case is made from Hypetex coloured advanced material. The outer shell is accompanied by leather corners and straps in either a rich burgundy shade or classic black, complete with a plush quilted microfibre lining.

The Hypetex coloured advanced materials reduced the weight significantly; the target was a 20 percent reduction and the actual was closer to 30 percent, weighing just over 1kg, making it lighter than most premium brands out there. 

Hypetex advanced carbon composite technology combined with Innegra™ led to a novel ultra tough and light hybrid composite laminate that was integrated into the case for shock absorption, lightness and improved stability.

In addition,Hypetex and Globetrotter worked with coating specialists PPG to develop and optimise a protective solution, designed specifically to endure significant usage over a long time.
