NEW PRODUCTION RUN FOR AWARD-WINNING CHAIR

Following increased demand, Hypetex is producing a new limited-edition run of its award-winning Halo chair.

The world’s first chair made with coloured carbon fibre, it is now available in 16 colours and a further 35 pieces will be produced.

Marc Cohen, CEO of Hypetex, said: “Since we launched Halo, it has won the Red Dot Award for Design 2015, was chosen as Wired magazine’s Design Gadget of the Year and has been featured in numerous publications from the New York Times to the Financial Times and Wallpaper to Harpers Bazaar.

“To mark our increased run to 35 chairs we have reduced the price to £7,500 and have a number of new colours available.”

Created by award-winning furniture designer Michael Sodeau, the Halo chair is thin in structure, yet incredibly robust. Appearing visually dynamic, the chair is lightweight and strong, incorporating the properties of the Hypetex material.
